It is understood that the current highest temperature of the traditional high-temperature titanium alloy is 600 degrees Celsius. The composition of Ti60 material is extremely complex, containing a variety of elements with high melting points, difficult to melt and easy to segregate, so it is very difficult to control the vacuum melting. In order to meet the development needs of high-end titanium materials, the special titanium material team of Beijing Institute of Vanadium and Titanium Of Anshan Iron and Steel Group takes Ti60 high-temperature titanium alloy as the research and development focus, and carries out technological breakthroughs. The team consists of relevant scientific researchers from Chengdu Advanced Metal Materials Industrial Technology Research Institute of Pangang and Jiangyou Branch of Titanium Material Company. The first 3 tons of Ti60 high temperature titanium ingot of heavy industry grade of Angang Group was successfully trial-produced.
